It's not so common for men to get the head tremor so guess you are really unlucky :-( If the beta blockers dont work go back to your doc as they can up the doseage or even combine them with another drug.
TBH I had to look up Ardvolich and the only place I could find was Ardvorlich. It is in Perth and Kinross district which isn't very far from me. I was up at Kinross a few weeks ago to pick someone up from T In The Park music festival and it took me 25 mins to get there. If it is the same place it must be a very small village and I have probably drove through it at some point. Kinross is beautiful and is a small town built around Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond has a small island in the middle and it was there Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner. Let me know if it is the same place as I will tell you lots more about the area .
Can you reply to this at [email protected] as I will attach pics etc. Also I am guessing your family originated in Ardvorlich and as I live so near I may be able to find out more about them and it will be easier to do it by email

Hey again Catherine,
Nice to be in touch with you....
You asked about my tremors??? I have had the tremors in my hands for as long as I can remember, then about 8 years ago my head started to tremor, and now if I'm having a bad day it will affect my arms, shoulders, neck and head, and sometimes - as with you - it will affect my voice. That's when I finally did something serious about it and sought professional help, which I found to be quite liberating. I could finally address my embarrasing social stigma with a definitive answer for what was happening to me. And now I'm really hoping the Beta Blockers will provide some relief - fingers crossed! Thanks for letting me know it will take about two weeks before I notice any real change.... I'm heading up to Sydney soon - a 3.5 hour drive north from where I live in Ulladulla. I'll be going to a social function tomorrow and probably having a couple of beers just to keep me level. It will be a fun time tho'....
Sorry to hear that your summer was so wet, our season is changing into a warm spring and the days are definitely getting longer. I've never been to Scotland, but what (if anything) can you tell me about "Ardvolich?" Have a great weekend Catherine and I look forward to hearing from you again. Stay dry! Bill :-)
